On 2nd May the children of Chestnut Class went to Glastonbury Abbey, to carry out some Medieval workshops. Glastonbury Abbey is the legendary burial place of King Arthur and is a Grade 1 Listed Ruin. Built in the 12th Century, it stands in magnificent grounds, and the children were able to get a taste of what it was like to be a Medieval knight, and fight for victory!
