On Friday 14th June, the children in Willow Class were treated to a talk on bees by our lovely Forest School Leader. Mrs. Leader keeps bees and was able to bring in some bee keeping resources to show the children. They were instructed on how to be around bees when checking the hives, how bees make honey, and how the honey is carefully extracted from the hives. Many thanks to Mrs. Leader, for organising this fantastic workshop, giving the children an insight to bee-keeping and the life and importance of bees!
