On Wednesday 24th April, Shipham First School was treated to our second author visit of the year! Tracey Corderoy, an accomplished children's author, joined us in a special assembly, and read a book from her Shifty Mcgifty Series. Then the children learned how to draw one of the characters, Slippery Sam! All of them were given a signed copy of one of Tracey's books to take home, and they were left inspired to write and tell stories of their own, and engage further with their reading and love of books.
