3&4 Year Old Funding

15 hours Early Years Entitlement for 3&4 year olds

The Early Years Entitlement (EYE) gives your child a maximum of 570 hours each year.

This will start the funding period after your child’s third birthday and will last for 3 funding periods (equivalent to one year).

The maximum entitlement that can be claimed per day is 10 hours, up to a maximum of 15 per week.

Subsequent funding years continue until your child starts school.

EYE is managed by the Pre-School Administrator on a termly basis.

You will receive Parent Declaration forms termly which will advise you of hours claimed.

30 hours Extended Entitlement for 3&4 year olds

If you and/or your partner meet the eligible criteria, ie you earn or expect to earn the equivalent to 16 hours a week at the National Minimum or Living Wage over the coming three months, you may be entitled to an additional 570 hours of funding per year (15 hours per week).
