This week children in Reception had a chance to learn where their food comes from with the Farm to Fork experience at Tescos.
The children had a chance to:
- Visit the cheese counter and get to taste different cheeses.
- Have a close encounter with some fresh fish and watched the fishmonger gut a fish
- Experience parts of the supermarket customers don’t get to see, such as the warehouse and chillers.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their experience which enhanced their topic this term on Farms and Farming.
