On the morning of the 27th June, Bridie the horse, who belongs to Mrs. Jones, came to visit the children in the playground here at Shipham School. She was a very good girl and stood quietly while Mrs. Jones talked about horse care and management, and how horses behave. The children were able to groom Bridie and stroke her nose, and she loved the attention! It was a very special experience, especially for those who have not been close to these beautiful animals before. Many thanks to Mrs. Jones, and to Bridie, for giving up their morning to make this visit possible.
