Message from Mr Ewens Headteacher (taken from Class Dojo)
Dear Parents and Carers,
You may have seen that a red weather warning has been issued for tomorrow morning.
The Wessex Learning Trust, in line with Somerset County Council, have made the decision to close all WLT schools tomorrow, Friday 18th February, due to the risk posed to children and staff as a result of the forecast high winds.
Remote learning will therefore be available from your child's class teacher through Class Dojo for the final day of this term.
Please could you 'like' this message to show that you have read it. Mrs Tasker will also be posting this notice on the school website.
Take care of yourselves and batten down the hatches!
Will Ewens
Headteacher

Message from Mrs Tasker Operations Assistant (taken from Class Dojo)
Good Afternoon
I am pleased to be able to report that the vast majority of children and staff have now returned to classes.
We currently have 1 child away in Willow Class, 2 in Oak Class and 2 in Chestnut Class. We also still have one member of staff isolating.
We wish all those still off school well and look forward to seeing them all back as soon as possible.
We will continue to be cautious in school and will not reintroduce whole school gatherings until at least Friday.
We continue to monitor air quality and take other covid safe measures as detailed previously by Mr Ewens.
