About FOSS

FOSS stands for Friends of Shipham School, it is a committee made up of parents whose aim is to fundraise on behalf of Shipham First School and also to organise events to bring families of children at the school together. Recent fundraising events have included a Pamper Evening where treatments were available at low cost together with refreshments and a finger buffet. FOSS works in conjunction with Shipham Pre School on bigger fundraising events such as the race night held in the Summer which raised a staggering £1800 for the schools. We hold annual events such as a Summer barbecue and camp night and a Christmas Bonanza.

Parents are free to join FOSS at any time. We meet every couple of months, usually at someone’s house over a glass of wine. We aim to make fundraising as fun as we can! If you would like to join FOSS please see any of the committee members above or email Linda, Chair.
