Healthy Schools' Status This is given to schools which can show that they provide opportunities for children to develop healthy lifestyles. We provide physical activity through PE , daily 'Wake and Shake' and after-school sessions. Parents and children are encouraged to eat healthy lunches and fruit is provided at morning break. We care for children's emotional health and well-being through the Social, Emotional Aspects of Learning programme. The ethos of the school encourages them to develop a sense of responsibility for their own and others' safety and wellbeing.

Basic Skills Quality Mark (now called the Primary Quality Mark) This is awarded to schools who can show that they provide good quality education for all their children and through regular assessing and effective tracking ensure that every child is learning and making progress.

Artsmark (Bronze Level) We achieved the Artsmark by showing that the school offers its children a broad range of experiences across the arts - literature, drama, art, music and dance. The school provides a rich arts curriculum within school time, together with after-school sessions, visits and visitors.
